~ Pilates Teacher & Body Worker, Suzanne Lott

“Anything that is cared for will thrive, including and ESPECIALLY, our precious body. But HOW we care is pivotal to the outcome….

In this exciting workshop I will teach you simple ways to improve fascial health and therefore, lymphatic health.

You will also learn how to effortlessly enhance your energy flow with simple practices based on the ancient Japanese art of Jin Shin Jyutsu.

This is a powerfully effective boost to health and well- being, which I am super excited to share with you.”

Jessica, has been working in the Wellness field for over 15 years. She is a Yoga Teacher, Sound Practitioner, Massage Therapist and Life Coach.

“Movement for me is medicine. I believe we should all lead a lifestyle of variety when it comes to moving our bodies. Life is always a play and dance between Yin and Yang. We will explore these two complimentary energies during our Yoga Practice.

Sound Healing has been used for centuries in many ancient cultures around the world. We use different instruments providing a range of frequencies (vibrations) to induce slower brain wave states, to reduce energy blocks, to release tension and to activate the parasympathetic nervous system to create more inner harmony.

As we know different practices are often very complementary to each other, working in different ways but to a common goal - more balance and increased wellbeing overall.

The benefits of all the practices we will offer are truly endless and I can’t wait for you to experience them. “ ~ Jessica Barker

About Fascia - The Bodies Connective Tissue

Suzanne, a Pilates Teacher, Body and Fascia worker with many years experience, has developed her own techniques to loosen fascia. Used in combination with stretching, these techniques are an effective and efficient way to unstick fascia!

By taking care of our fascia, we have the power to experience a full-body awakening.

Fascia, often described as the bodies "living matrix," is the connective tissue that interweaves throughout our muscles, organs, bones, and nerves, shaping our body's form and function. Like an intricate tapestry, it supports every part of our body, influencing our mobility, flexibility, posture, and overall health.

Just as we nourish our bodies with wholesome food and regular exercise, caring for our fascia requires attention and intention. Practices such as myofascial release, foam rolling, yoga, and bodywork can help maintain the suppleness and elasticity of our fascia, preventing tightness, injury, and pain. Through these practices, we encourage circulation, improve mobility, and promote the body's innate ability to heal and regenerate.

Beyond its physical impact, our fascia also affects our mental well-being, serving as a repository of past experiences, traumas, and emotions. Through practices like breathwork, mindfulness, and somatic movement, we can let go of what no longer serves us. This release can create a profound sense of lightness, emotional freedom, and healing catharsis.

“I want you to know that by nurturing healthy fascia, and caring for it every day, you are effectively investing in a brighter future for your body and mind.

Fascial work helps to get the body 'traffic' moving and flushes out areas that are stuck and ailing. The body is then able to offload its waste and regenerate with fresh, invigorating supplies of nutrients, fluids and healing energy.

I believe that within 50 years the wisdom and logic of actively promoting healthy fascia will be so well accepted it will be the norm.” - Sue Lott
